Messages settings

Use this payload to add instant messaging accounts for use with Messages.

Note: Use the messages payload for OS X device, user, and user group configuration profiles. For more information, see About profiles and payloads and Payload best practices.

You can configure AIM and Jabber accounts. To configure more than one account, click Add .

If you select the Use SSL option, use the Credentials pane to add root certificates that are necessary to validate the server’s SSL certificate. If you select the User Kerberos v5 option, the user must be able to obtain a Kerberos ticket for the message service.

You can add multiple messages accounts by clicking the Add button .
